"In regards to the infamous Blinky 1, it never made it online. It was the first game I ever made, period. Picture a far crappier version of Blinky 2, and that's about it. Blinky 2 is more like a remake, honestly. It featured a yo-yo weapon that you had to find, and later you got the box of doughnuts and were able to throw doughnuts. "The very first game was the first thing I did with the Game Maker utility... as a result, it had a lot of flaws. Gameplay was nearly identical to Blinky 2.
"The characters were created specifically for the game. There was a little comic I had drawn that more or less followed the games, but they're long-lost by now. "The only boss was the final boss, Shnookwad, but [unlike the later games] I'm pretty sure he was just a normal-sized monster that took multiple shots to kill."
