THIS GAME IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
ALL INFORMATION IS TENTATIVE

A nearly precise replication of level two from Konami's Castlevania. To fit with Game-Maker's specifications, sprites and tiles are resized by eye to 125% of their original scale.

This game serves as a study of NES palette and tiling techniques, as well as an experiment with various unlisted features (stairs, character extensions, complex monster behaviors).

A discussion of the precise techniques at play will follow.
