Release type: Retail (Game-Maker suite)
Release date: 1991 (original release)
Author: Recreational Software Designs

Produces and edits .SND format files. Also incorporates .VOC, though you need to produce those on your own. It also lacks a utility for composing or editing .CMF music files, though as with Graphics Image Reader the tool can process pre-existing .CMF files for use with Game-Maker.

Programmed by Oliver Stone.

Tips

  • Try rapidly contrasting high and low pitches to create a dirty, razzing tone.
  • In actual play, any sound block that you set to zero will play as a medium tone. If you want to set a block to silent, your best option is to set it to the lowest possible pitch rather than to absolute zero.
