An experiment. Game-Maker is mostly built for Zelda-style adventure games, so it's interesting to see how closely it can replicate the game. This represents maybe about six hours of design work, over an afternoon.
Instructions
Use the arrow keys to move.
Enter the cave, and use the [space bar] to pick up the sword.
Explore the overworld, defeat monsters, and collect power-ups.
Use the following keys to attack:
- S: Sword
- A: Candle
- Q: Bow & arrow
- W: Wand
