Behold the aspiring repository for everything there is to know about Recreational Software Designs' Game-Maker development suite: its use, its users, its surrounding culture, its influence, and -- of course -- the games themselves!

This site is not for profit; just for promulgation. Please feel free to contribute. Anything you can add or expand on, however incidental it may seem, will just increase the knowledge base. In updating, do use some common sense and courtesy; this wiki is for everyone, not just you or me. Otherwise, kick around. Break the place in.

Game playing tips:

To ensure full compatibility of Game-Maker games under Win2K and higher, use a DOS emulator such as DOSBox. For Mac OS X, try Boxer.

Windows users will also do well with Joy2Key and perhaps a wired Xbox 360 controller.

It's as fun to make them... as it is to play them... Game-Maker: the state-of-the-art in game design tools.
