Fireworks is less of a game than a single-screen experiment with animation. In the center of the screen we have Mogo, from KonoTest. Around him is a sequence of animation frames, arranged in the shape of a heart. The animation is of an explosion, leaving behind several bright embers -- presumably the fireworks of the title.
For a player there's nothing really to do in this game. For e Game-Maker user, there are a few interesting nuances. You can study Levy's animation technique, both within the individual tile and as staggered around the screen. From there you can imagine a hypothetical cutscene or level-end status screen using a variation on this demo -- or simply its use as a dynamic in-game effect.
