Todd Cope developed "An untitled Winnie the Pooh game starring a more adult-centric Pooh character who carries a gun and shoots bad guys. This game was a side-scrolling platformer with some overhead levels in between the main levels."

Background[edit]

This game was a side-scrolling platformer starring Winnie the Pooh as the main character. This was based on my own Pooh Bear universe where Pooh was a bad-ass fighting “evil” of various kinds. In this game Pooh uses a handgun to shoot enemies. The graphics were pretty gory, including a death animation of Pooh himself with his head exploding and blood splattering all over the screen.

The game also featured top-down levels that operated like a vertical scrolling shooter. Pooh always faced up in these levels and you maneuvered him through the level collecting items and fending off enemies.

The first level was Pooh's house. You moved through the house to go outside and find the streets littered with various kinds of monsters. Luckily you brought your trusty handgun along so you could wipe them out and get to the bottom of this.
