THIS GAME IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
ALL INFORMATION IS TENTATIVE
ALL INFORMATION IS TENTATIVE
The fourth entry in Alan Caudel's Man Game is a little left-field. The experiment this time is one potential method to swing on vines or other dangling fibers -- the inspiration being from Capcom's Bionic Commando series.
Alan Caudel:
- How this works: First, there's no gravity on the background blocks. The character's idle animation slowly moves downward to mimic gravity. Touching a "chain block" increases the repetition count for the "swing" ability by one. Press "P" to shoot out the "chain monster" and swing forward. If you swing across correctly, you'll touch the next "chain block" and if you keep pressing "P", you'll swing all the way across to safety. If you don't time it correctly, then you'll fall.
A discussion of the precise techniques at play will follow.
